{Crazy Stupid Love}

I am so so excited to see this movie. From the second I watched the preview, I have been dying for it to come out. There are so many stars in this movie. I love Steve Carell, particularly when he's not trying to be funny (Dan in Real Life, so good!) plus Emma Stone, & Ryan Gosling. I love Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone together, they seem like they would have the best chemistry. I will be in line Friday night to see it, can't wait!

{Ryan helps Steve get back in the game after a divorce, I'm a sucker for a makeover movie}

{Girl Crush: Jennifer Aniston}

I have been a huge Jennifer Aniston fan since Rachel. You just have to love her. She's got great style and always seems so put together. But, I'm not going to lie, I had lost my faith in her a little bit. A lot of her movies have been so so and for awhile I wouldn't see a romantic comedy with her because I knew it would be semi lame. But, I think she is redeeming herself. Of course, I loved her in Marley & Me, she was pretty funny in Just Go with It, and I reluctantly watched The Switch the other night, and I loved it! Now she's in the new movie Horrible Bosses, she is a brunette dentist who sexually harasses her dental assistant. I saw her on the cover of the July Marie Claire and she looks fabulous, loving her shorter hair.{Jen with Jason Bateman, love him, so funny!}

{with Jason Sudakis from SNL, he's adorable.}

{Again with Jason Bateman, he was in The Switch and her newest movie}

{Big Top}

My sister & I just went to see the beautiful movie, Water for Elephants. It was so incredibly good. I wasn't to sure about Robert Pattinson as anything other than a vampire, but he was great. The movie was set in the 1930s, so the clothing and hair were to die for. Reese Witherspoon's hair was Harlow-esk, white blonde, I loved it. If you want to see a great movie, you have to go see this one!

{Loved all of the horses in the movie, so amazing}

{This elephant will break your heart, Rob too}

{The Roomate}

I went to see The Roommate this weekend and it was exactly what I expected. A cheesy horror film with the same plot of Single White Female. It was a little Lifetime for me, but it was worth making fun of. It starred Minka Kelly from Friday Night Lights and Leighton Meester from Gossip Girl ( which I love love!). I can't believe how much they look alike. Its crazy. I have to say I have had a few SWF's in my life so far. I won't name names, but girls can be super creepy & possessive, maybe not to the point of this movie, but scary nonetheless. {Blair Waldorf goes a bit psycho}

{All in all bad horror movie, but great styling and a decent soundtrack}

{Radiant Reese}

Reese Witherspoon is back with a cute new movie. She is so freaking cute. I usually think brunettes are always prettier than blondes, but she is just adorable. I always love her hair, whether its short or long. I loved when she was with Jake Gyllenhall, I thought they were the cutest couple.
This new movie, How do you Know? is directed my James Brooks, who did Terms of Endearment, As Good as it Gets, along with a million other well known TV shows and movies. It looks really cute, and how can you resist Owen Wilson, he is the best.

{Zach Attack!}

I have a confession. I have a secret crush on Zach Galafianakis. I love him. I love his beard. I just want to hang out with him all day. Am I alone on this? I highly doubt it. He has had a few bit roles in the past, but really broke out when he was in The Hangover. So freaking funny. He is everywhere lately though. I'm happy for him, but, now everyone is going to be crushing on him.So excited for Hangover 2, hope they don't overdo it. I heard that it takes place in Thailand.

Saw Due Date when I was in Cali, pretty funny. Love both of those guys. I teared up in this scene (that's his dad's ashes on the floor)
Zach Galafianakis: Live at the Purple Onion
the most hilarious stand up I have ever seen. He is drunk through the entire thing, but plays the piano beautifully.

Zach hosted SNL this past summer, you could tell which skits he had anything to do with, the one where he is the beauty queen's dad. I died laughing.
If you want a quick laugh, click here, Its Zach's fake interviews with celebrities, In Between two Ferns, sometimes, his twin brother, Seth, steps in for him.

{The September Issue}

Last night I watched this really cool documentary about Vogue magazine. If you are a fan of Devil wears Prada, then you have to watch this. It is so interesting. Everyone knows, Ana Wintour is the editor of American Vogue. She is known as being ans icy, very down to business woman. She does little to no interviews or television appearances, so, this was a look into how she makes all of the deciding factors for the most important issue, September, of the year (who knew?!). If you have seen Devil, you will respect Meryl Streep's performance so much more. She did a perfect job of portraying Ms. Wintour. Apparently, Lauren Weisberger, who wrote Devil, based her book on her experiences as Anna'a assistant. Even her office was set up exactly like the movie set. If you haven't read the book, you have to, its so much better than the movie, they left a lot out! And, it is rumoured that Anna was so mad about the book/movie that she blacklisted any designers that had any appearances or anything to do with the movie! Drama! Anyway, if you love fashion, this gives you a behind the scenes pass to all of the craziness from the photo shoots, which are gorgeous, to the cover shot of Sienna Miller. They even take you to Anna's houses and interview her daughter. Anna said that when she was filling out her college admissions she wrote as her objective: "To be the editor of Vogue". I think its great to see a woman achieve such a huge goal. She may be an ice queen, but she knows what she wants and gets it.

{Anna is known for her dark sunglasses, fur coats, and front row seat at all things fashion}

It's Complicated.

OK, so I am totally aware of the fact that this has already been all over blogworld, but I just had to do a post on this movie. I am not the kind of person who goes out and buys a movie unless I just love it and could picture myself watching again & again on rainy days. So, when I heard that Its Complicated was coming out today, I ran out on my lunch break to get it. I didn't just love this movie because it was hilarious and the actors are amazing (even my crush, John Krasinski was in it!), but the movie set was to die for. Meryl Streep's character had this amazing house, you just couldn't help but notice it. If you watch a lot of movies, you know that this movie was directed by Nancy Meyers, who also directed Something's Got to Give & The Holiday, these movies all have the same sort of vibe and the sets are incredible!! I loved that in this movie Meryl Streep was a chef, I actually attempted to make croque monsieurs after I saw it in the theater! Anyway, tonight my husband is in class, so, I will be relaxing and watching this wonderful movie by myself, here are some shots of the movie set: {my dream would be to own a bakery like this, so awesome}
{I thought it was so funny that in the movie, she was renovating her whole house, what's wrong with it?? I am obsessed with the carrera marble island.}

{ I read that Meryl Streep had a lot of hands on time with the kitchen set, she didn't want it looking too perfect}

{my dream kithcen}

{here is a better angle with the farmhouse table}

{so cozy}

{this bedroom makes me want to take a nap, I love how unperfectly perfect it is. I have that exact bench at the foot of my bed, I didn't notice that until now, thanks, Mom!}

Carrie & Co.

I am way too tired to upload my weekend pictures. Let's just say it was a heck of a Monday. But as I was watching my favorite show, Tori & Dean, I saw this...

I am way too excited about this.

Mark you calendars for May 27th. My friend Stephanie and I have watched SATC together since it first came on HBO, like 10 years ago. Love it! The fashion alone is enough to watch it.I own almost every season on DVD. The first movie was everything I expected it to be, and I am sure the 2nd won't disappoint. I read that there will be some eighties flashbacks, Sanford and Mario get married, and of course Charlotte is pregnant. I can't wait wait for this movie. I can hear the intro music now...

{movie night}

I love popcorn, at the movies, microwave, whatever. Although, I don't think it could get worse for you, health wise. If you have never had popcorn made on the stove top, you have to try this. It is so good and not too bad for you! The perfect popcorn recipe:

3 tbs olive or canola oil
1/3 cup popcorn kernels
3 qt covered saucepan
2 tbspoons butter or alternative
salt to taste

heat oil over medium heat

put 3- 4 popcorn kernels in and cover

when they start to pop, pour rest of kernels in and remove from heat for 30 sec

return pan to heat, all kernels should start popping at the same time

gently shake pan and put lid ajar to let steam escape

add melted butter and/or salt and ENJOY!

With this lovely Spring snow that we received this weekend, the hubs and I watched a movie or two. Perfect weekend for it. We watched this documentary, that I had seen on Oprah and wanted to check out. I highly recommend Food, Inc. So scary what is in our food and there is nothing that we can do about it. Very eye opening. Can't wait until this snow clears and I can get my herbs and veggies in the ground, at least I know where they came from when I pick them.

Alice in Wonderland

I was a little concerned when I found out that Tim Burton was directing the new Alice in Wonderland, he's a little eccentric. I'm not the biggest fan, although, I LOVED Big Fish. But when I saw that Johnny Depp was going to be the crazy Mad Hatter and Anne Hathaway{love!} was the White Queen, things started looking up! I am really excited to see this movie! It comes out today and I'm sure it won't dissapoint. So, I put together some Alice inspired clothes, jewelry and cosmetics. There is so much out there!
