Holiday Wishlist

There is one more weekend left to Christmas shop. To say that I need to get with it, is an understatement. I have gotten 1 tiny present and that's it. My sister and I make Christmas lists ( well, I started this, got made fun of, and now she does it too) and I made mine very down to earth this year. I am on a budget, so i figure everyone else must be too. I know kind of what I am going to get everyone, but here are a few things that any girl would love and are very much affordable.
{Tocca Cleopatra, the most amazing perfume, $68, Sephora}
{teal burlap Tom's, $44}

{Williams Sonoma Hot Chocolate, you make it with milk, its the good stuff!}

{Tori Spellings, newer book, Uncharted TerriTORI, $18, Target}

{ I am obsessed with infinity scarves, I found mine in California, but am having a hard time finding them at home}

{ I love a gold watch, this Fossil one is super affordable}

{Tory Burch, Reva ballet flats, these are the best flats, super comfortable and gotta love the TB logo, Nordstroms}

{Kings of Leon's new CD, Come around Sundown, I don't know how you can't love this entire CD, its a little rock and a little country, $12, Amazon. }

{St. Louis}

We had such a fun trip to St. Louis. The weather was a little cold and rainy but the concert was amazing. I still cannot get over how awesome they are live. We ended up staying a little longer than planned, we hit up a pretty nice mall and didn't end up getting in until after 10. Monday is here and I am exhausted but it was well worth it. Here are some pictures of our road trip.{driving downtown}

{my favorite BLT pizza from CPK}
{my favorite place to be: an Anthropologie sale room}

{my sweet sister eating Godiva white chocolate with raspberries}

{Bubble bars at Lush}

{KOL concert}

{about 50 degrees and raining, alcohol did help}

{caprese salad at Maggiano's}

{late night cocktail}

{refer to above caption, actually I was completely sober in this photo, that's what is scary}

John Derian for Target

There had better be a Target in heaven because I am obsessed. Now, Target has teamed up with designer John Derian, and if you have ever been to his NYC store, you understand my excitement. He has a quirky, eclectic, vintage vibe and its a little pricey. But, leave it to Target to collaborate with him. Here are a few items I am dying to go pick up.{John Derian Co. storefront in NYC}

{cute melamine serving tray, $24.99}
{set of green melamine plates, $19.99}

{A ton of storage items and stationary, I die, Rachel Zoe style for this tiered tray}

{loving the porcelain coffee mugs, my favorite is the honeycomb, $6.99}
{side note: is it sad that I want to work @ target just for the discount?}

{Anthropologie Inspiration}

{anthropologie kansas city Country Club Plaza}

Anthropologie has been one of my favorite places for the past 5 or so years. I usually head straight to the sale room or table, but end up spending at least an hour every time I go. I have gotten so many awesome deals from their sales. The store is such a crazy mix of old and new. You can really go in there and get inspired. I can't wait to see what they have displayed in their windows every time I visit. I couldn't get over the elaborate chandelier(center) in KC, it was over the check out area and it was incredible. The store reminds me of a high class flea market. The clothing is a little pricey for me, of course you have to check out the sales first, the accessories are great and decently priced, dishes, cookbooks, aprons, towels, etc. And you have to visit their beauty section, the best candles and perfume. Even if you go just to check out the display, its worth it.

Road Trip!

So, like I said, me, my mom, and my sister took off for a couple of days to Kansas City. We did some major shopping and ate some great food, it was a blast. First off we went to a MEGA Marshalls/Homegoods, I had never been to a Homegoods and it was great, very good prices. We also went to Old Time Pottery which is a huge warehouse full of anything and everything, I always find an insane deal there. We ate at the California Pizza Kitchen, so good! Our hotel was located in The Country Club Plaza, so on our second day, we walked around the plaza and went to Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Bare Escentuals, Papersouce, and ate lunch at The Cheesecake Factory. We also hit up a couple of flea markets and vintage shops, they have some great ones. And, of course we went to my favorite store, Pryde's of Westport, if you're ever in KC, you have to check it out, it has everything for the kitchen & house and so much more,there is even a bakery on the bottom floor.
I love getting out of town even if it only a day or two and only 3 hours away. Can't wait to go back!
