{2010 Oscar Fashion Favorites}

I really enjoyed this years Oscars. It was very entertaining, the hosts were hilarious, and the stars were beautiful. A very classy 3 1/2 hours! I loved Sandra Bullock's acceptance speech, and although I was rooting for Jeremy Renner for best actor, I am glad Jeff Bridges won, I think I have a strange sort of crush on him?! Anyway, I was impressed with the fashion for the most part, there could have been some more color, but overall very nice. I won't even talk or post anything about the guys, I mean how do you mess up a designer 3 piece suit? (unless you're Robert Downey Jr., but he gets a pass). They all looked great to me. Here are my favorites of the night, all good, no bad! We will have to see if Joan Rivers agrees with me... {sandra bullock looking AMAZING in Marchesa}
{i know most will disagree, but I loved Zoe Saldana in Givenchy gown}

{even miley dressed to impress in Jenny Packham}

{stunning, cameron diaz in oscar de la renta }

{ageless, demi moore in Versace Atelier}

{one of my favorites, Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab}

YUM!

My sister and her boyfriend came over on Saturday night to watch SNL(our favorite comedian was hosting- Zach Galafianakis, so funny!) I was feeling a little Giada like and made my favorite cupcakes. White cake with butter cream, SOO delicious!! I will be on that elliptical tonight! I think they turned out pretty cute?!?

Alice in Wonderland

I was a little concerned when I found out that Tim Burton was directing the new Alice in Wonderland, he's a little eccentric. I'm not the biggest fan, although, I LOVED Big Fish. But when I saw that Johnny Depp was going to be the crazy Mad Hatter and Anne Hathaway{love!} was the White Queen, things started looking up! I am really excited to see this movie! It comes out today and I'm sure it won't dissapoint. So, I put together some Alice inspired clothes, jewelry and cosmetics. There is so much out there!

Oscar Time!

The Oscars are this Sunday and I cannot wait to see the fashion, the stars, and hear the speeches. I love this picture of Audrey Hepburn, she had just won for Roman Holiday in 1954. So gorgeous! I am really excited that I have seen almost every movie nominated for Best Picture this year. That never happens. I will be on the couch Sunday night with my reluctant husband watching all of the glitz and glamour!

a great weekend

I had a terrible week, so I was so very happy when the weekend rolled around. We woke up on Saturday and lazed around for a little bit, it was such a beautiful day, we loaded up the girls and headed to my parents house on the lake. It almost felt like Spring outside @ 50 degrees. The drive up there is really nice, especially when the weather is great.

my mom's yummy chocolate cake

On Sunday, we went to the Razorback baseball game, Chad got some awesome tickets from a guy at work. It was such a great day for a baseball game. I love baseball, it one of the only sports that I feel like I honestly understand.I loved sitting next to the scouts and seeing how fast the pitcher could throwIt was a 3 day tournament, a close 3rd game, but we won!
All in all a great weekend, hopefully this week will be better to me!

Spring Inspiration

Loving the spring colors used in these rooms, makes me want to head to Lowes and paint room!

So excited...

The Real Housewives of NYC is coming back next week!! I am so addicted to these shows, it is ridiculous. NYC is by far my favorite. I love Bethany and love to hate Kelly. I still watch housewives of O.C. too, but never got into Atlanta. I hate that I love reality shows so much, but I just can't help it. I swore that I would stop watching MTV by the time I was 25, but I still find myself watching The Hills and The City. Anyway, the housewives are back next Thursday, my DVR will be set!
