{St. Louis}

We had such a fun trip to St. Louis. The weather was a little cold and rainy but the concert was amazing. I still cannot get over how awesome they are live. We ended up staying a little longer than planned, we hit up a pretty nice mall and didn't end up getting in until after 10. Monday is here and I am exhausted but it was well worth it. Here are some pictures of our road trip.{driving downtown}

{my favorite BLT pizza from CPK}
{my favorite place to be: an Anthropologie sale room}

{about 50 degrees and raining, alcohol did help}

Get out of town...

I am so excited to get out of here for the weekend. I would be happy with just the road trip to St. Louis, but throw in Kings of Leon and I am so stoked. These guys have to be one of my all time favorite bands. This will be my second Kings concert and they are absolutely incredible live.
So, I can't wait to get there and eat some great food and of course fit in a little shopping. I have already put the nearest Anthropologie into my Garmin (I am so deprived of good shopping)

{Caleb Followill, that voice and that face, gorgeous}

John Derian for Target

There had better be a Target in heaven because I am obsessed. Now, Target has teamed up with designer John Derian, and if you have ever been to his NYC store, you understand my excitement. He has a quirky, eclectic, vintage vibe and its a little pricey. But, leave it to Target to collaborate with him. Here are a few items I am dying to go pick up.{John Derian Co. storefront in NYC}

{cute melamine serving tray, $24.99}
{set of green melamine plates, $19.99}

{A ton of storage items and stationary, I die, Rachel Zoe style for this tiered tray}

{loving the porcelain coffee mugs, my favorite is the honeycomb, $6.99}
{side note: is it sad that I want to work @ target just for the discount?}

the.best.wine.ever.

I know everyone has their own taste in wine. I definitely like a sweeter wine and prefer white to red. I am so secretly jealous of those snobby wine connoisseurs, like on Sideways. I want to take a trip to the West coast and hit up as many vineyards as I can, but until that day, I will have to settle for my cheap, delicious moscato. Seriously, this wine is like $6 for a regular bottle and around $14 for a huge one(go with the huge one). A friend introduced me to it a couple of years ago and I have been stuck on it ever since. It is my go to wine, no doubt.{Moscato is very sweet it has a lot of peach and apricot flavor, so good!}
{couldn't resist, love her}

{love the barefoot label too}

2010 VMAs

Ok, I am way too old to admit this, but I have been watching MTV for way too long. I always remember to watch the VMAs every September. For the fashion, celebrities and crazy performances. Here are a few of my favorite moments from the show. No pictures of Lady Gaga's "meat dress", so not cool.
{Ashley Green looking great in Giambattista}

{Florence & the Machine, this chick can sing! I have been a fan for a while, I have mixed emotions about them being on the VMAs, I feel like my little secret is out }{I have strong feelings that Ms Taylor Swift is such a mediocre singer, but, I have to admit I liked this song & performance. Very different.}

{I was so excited to see Rhianna perform with Eminem. That song is so powerful and she looks great with the red hair, who knew?!} {Florence looking glamorous, I am obsessed with her voice, so beautiful!}

{Hayley Williams of Paramore, I have a secret girl crush on her. Her performance with B.o.B. was one of my favorites.}

It's like riding a bike...

{ two paths diverged}

Wow, its been awhile. I have forgotten how to even sign in. If anyone is out there, I am making a comeback. I have had a wild past 6 months and I am ready to start again. I have chosen my path and am sure that I am in a good place. I have learned a lot in the past months and I think I am stronger for it. My life may be different (just me and my dogs), but I am ready to start blogging again and focus on the fun, beautiful things out there that make me happy. I've missed it. Talk to you soon.
