Fall Favorites

Fall is finally here. The leaves are changing, falling, and the weather is getting cooler. I love it. I cannot believe that it is already mid October. This is my favorite time of year, plus my bday is right around the corner! Here are some fall inspired fashions, food, and anything else that just reminds me that fall has arrived.{OPI, You Don't Know Jaques, I have always been a Linkin Park after Dark fan, but this is more grey, perfect for fall outfits}
{Wolford, black wool tights, pricey but will keep you so warm}

{Steve Madden Intyce boots, these are the perfect height, and I love the wedge heel}

{Love, Chloe, this perfume is just heavy enough for colder weather, powdery and spicy}

{Ever since I binged out on figs in California, I have been obsessed, I think I found my Thanksgiving dessert idea!}

{My Anthropologie monogrammed mug...}

{filled with my new obsession, Chai Latte coffee creamer..yummy!}

{Loving this candle, smells like fall, somehow?}

{So ready to bake some bread in my bread machine, it just doesn't seem appropriate to bust out that huge appliance until this time of year}

{Thanksgiving Favorites}

I cannot believe Thanksgiving is next week. I am in the middle of moving, so I am stressing about that, but I am still a little excited about this time of year. I get to get together with my favorite peeps, my family, and eat and make awesome food and just be thankful for all that we have been blessed with. Here are a few of the things I am looking forward to eating making and just some cute ideas.I made these bacon wrapped dates last year and they were amazing. I got the idea from really cool South American restaurant and I had to recreate them.
Barefoot Contessa's pumpkin cupcakes. Yum.

Slatkin & Co. creamy nutmeg 3 wick candle. My favorite fall candle.

When I went to Cali, I saw these cake pops, like these, but I found this recipe for peanut butter chocolate pops that seemed more appropriate for Thanksgiving. Plus, I am not the biggest fan of cake and these are the perfect amount.

Gorgeous Pottery Barn table setting. They have these turkey plates every year, one year I will have them!

I love this idea, but when I searched for fake acorns, I found out that they don't come cheap. So, my frugal self, went out to my parents land and found the real deal for nothin. Same look, sorry squirrels!

A Change will do me good

I just got home from a wonderful trip to California and Las Vegas. It was so great to get away from everything crazy in my life. I will post more on that later. When I got home all of the trees looked like they were on fire. I was so happy that I didn't miss them turning, it's one of my favorite things. The leaves changing and falling made me think and reflect on a lot of things.
Its time to let go of all things negative. My life is wonderful and I am blessed. I have gotten far away from poisonous people who had brought me down (way down) in the past. No more of that and no more dwelling on the time wasted on them. It is time for me to focus on me and to live a healthy & happy life, drama free.
{ gorgeous fall foliage right outside my door}

{Here's to a change in season including my attitude!}
