Before & After: mini office

I have an extra room that I have been debating on turning into an office or a guest room. My parents let me use their gorgeous antique iron bed, so it is a guest room now that I love. But, I have to have an office area. A place for bills, my laptop, odds & ends. So, I turned my old vanity desk into a cute little mini office, and here it is..{Before: wrong color, and blah}{After: perfect color that goes with the rest of my living room}

{Awards Season}

The Golden Globes were on this past Sunday and I always get excited to see who will be there and what everyone is wearing. Ricky Gervais hosted who is so hilarious, he crosses the line most of the time, but, I think since he's British he can get away with it. Here are a few of the beautiful girls and guy on the red carpet. I'm no Joan Rivers, but these were my faves. I think almost everyone looked stunning this year and I can't wait for the Oscars!{Olivia Wilde in Marchesa, so gorgeous!}

The Big D

...and I do mean Dallas. My sweet sister finally got her first new car, a cute little SUV that fits her personality so well. She needed some shelving, and a good reason to test out the new wheels, so - we headed to Dallas. For the day. We started at Ikea, then spent a few hours at the best mall ever, Northpark, ate lunch at Corner Bakery, hit a few other places and ate dinner. Starting at 6am, we didn't get back till 2am. {Airport Style}

I am getting a little anxious to go somewhere. Anywhere. I just want to travel. I know I won't be for awhile with school starting, so it makes it even worse. Other than a couple of weekend trips, it looks like I am landlocked for awhile. Here are a couple of starlets dressed to impress while they travel. I go back & forth on whether to dress to the nines, I mean you never know who you might see or meet, or go casual. I wore a dress once on my way to California, I thought it was so cute, until it was completely wrinkled by them time I got to my destination and I had to go through a security check where they blow air all around you in a clear box (no I'm not making this up), and my dress blew up. {Hugo's}

I love little places that no one knows about. I have been eating at Hugos in Fayetteville since high school, but it is one of those places that not everyone knows exactly where it is or how insanely awesome it is. They are known for their crepes and burgers. I always get the same dang thing everytime I go because it is that good. The atmosphere is pretty cool too.{Hugo's is literally underground}

I am so excited for this new year. 2010 was a little crazy, and I have to say that I am beyond ready for 2011. I had a wonderful New Years weekend and hopefully there will be a lot more to come. No resolutions this year, I just want to be healthy and happy.
