...and family. Going through a really rough time and am just really happy to have the support that I do. I love my friends and family and do not know what I would without them. Taking a little blogging break. So, adieu for now, I'll be back and better than ever.

{The September Issue}
Last night I watched this really cool documentary about Vogue magazine. If you are a fan of Devil wears Prada, then you have to watch this. It is so interesting. Everyone knows, Ana Wintour is the editor of American Vogue. She is known as being ans icy, very down to business woman. She does little to no interviews or television appearances, so, this was a look into how she makes all of the deciding factors for the most important issue, September, of the year (who knew?!). If you have seen Devil, you will respect Meryl Streep's performance so much more. She did a perfect job of portraying Ms. Wintour. Apparently, Lauren Weisberger, who wrote Devil, based her book on her experiences as Anna'a assistant. Even her office was set up exactly like the movie set. If you haven't read the book, you have to, its so much better than the movie, they left a lot out! And, it is rumoured that Anna was so mad about the book/movie that she blacklisted any designers that had any appearances or anything to do with the movie! Drama! Anyway, if you love fashion, this gives you a behind the scenes pass to all of the craziness from the photo shoots, which are gorgeous, to the cover shot of Sienna Miller. They even take you to Anna's houses and interview her daughter. Anna said that when she was filling out her college admissions she wrote as her objective: "To be the editor of Vogue". I think its great to see a woman achieve such a huge goal. She may be an ice queen, but she knows what she wants and gets it.
{Anna is known for her dark sunglasses, fur coats, and front row seat at all things fashion}

Cinco de Mayo!
Happy Cinco de Mayo!! I am not celebrating with the usual margarita or mojito. Not that those aren't great. I have a new obsession: Mexican Coke. No, seriously, it is Coke imported from Mexico.I don't know what it is about them, I think they are made with real sugar cane, but, they are so much better than a regular old American Coke. {Hecho in Mexico}
Have you ever had one?

1. MUSIC, 60's, 70's, 80's, I grew up listening to it all, that is where I get my love of and knowledge of music, thanks dad, for waking me up @ 8am on the weekends blaring Bruce Springsteen!
2.DOGS or any other living breathing creature that God created, I also got my bizarre love of animals from him.
3. Would you rather?... its a game our family has played forever.
4. Traveling, I hope I can take my kids to some of the places that he has taken our family, can't wait to go on another family vacation one day?!
5. STORIES, hands down the best storyteller I know. My sister and I are always asking about "that one time" when he was growing up, we laugh so hard!!

Before & After: New Hair
I got my hair did!
I sat in my hairdressers' chair from 11am- 2 pm on Friday. Seriously?! I didn't get color, highlights, a perm?? Nope, just a haircut, about 3 inches lopped off. I have really thick hair, it just takes forever to cut, dry, and then thin out!! It feels so good!! I was debating on growing it out and donating it again, but, I thought about the fact that its about to get hot outside and be pool time, so short was the way to go. I also debated on growing out my bangs, but I had her chop those too! Anyway, here is a B&A shot. P.S. just found my webcam on my laptop, excuse the poor picture quality, didn't feel like bugging the husband to take 50 pics till I finally liked one. Before: I hated that medium length. Not long, but not short.
